Joe was a charter member of our Lodge. He was a long time secretary, officer, and, a past Exalted Ruler. During his tenure he was largely responsible for the beautiful addition we have today. He also chaired numerous committee’s including memorial day, mother’s day, and the building committee. In 1988 he served as the Grand Secretary to the Southeast District during my tenure as District Deputy. I have numerous memories of great times spent with him and his wife Ginny.
Joe and I shared the same birthday September 13th. No matter how long it had been since we last talked to each other I could always expect a call from him on that day. Needless to say this Friday I will miss hearing his voice. My condolences to his son and entire family! Sleep my brother; peace be with you! Randy and Sherry Leiser
