William E. Tremel

William Tremel, 85, of South Toms River passed away on May 31, 2026.  Born in Newark, NJ, he lived several years in South Amboy before settling to South Toms River, NJ in 1974.  Mr. Tremel Proudly served his country in the US Navy.  He went on to become a skilled Carpenter for many years and later worked for Fluid Packaging and finally worked at Lowes in Tom River.  He was an Avid Fisherman, loved hunting, horse race betting and Bingo.

William is predeceased by his parents Harriet and John Tremel and by his brother Donald Tremel.  Surviving are his loving wife Ellie Tremel, his two children Deborah Tremel and Joseph Tremel and his wife Ann, his grandchildren Rebecca Lenovich, Robert Tremel, Jessica Walker and his many great grandchildren.  Also surviving are his siblings Charlie Tremel and his wife Valerie, John Tremel and his wife Gail and Julie Tremel.
