Our beloved Veronica Alexis Smith, age 36, went gently into the night much too soon on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Her beautiful ,yet often complex journey of life started here in New Jersey. She and her life partner and fiance, Troy, and their 2 beautiful girls Naija and Narae traveled to the mountains of Pennsylvania. There her new spirit took shape. The mountains brought her such a sense of peace, she loved living there. Veronica lived her life with no apologies. It was filled with joy and beauty but also tragedy as she fought to overcome her struggle with addiction. Sometimes the battle is just too much for this life and God must ease you're suffering by bringing you to his side. Fly peacefully our precious butterfly... Spread your wings and be cradled in God's loving arms. Every time we see a beautiful butterfly we will know it is you sending down your love to us from heaven...
