Thomas A. Seel, 76, of Bayville passed away on June 15, 2024. He was born in Paterson, NJ and raised in Wyckoff before moving to Bayville in 2001. He attended Ramapo High School. He worked most of his life as a builder before retiring and was the owner of Charles Anna Trucking, where he built sets for shows and events such as the Academy Awards and the Super Bowl.
Mr. Seel was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan, despite being surrounded by Yankee fans, and was a former Boston Red Sox farm team player. He left the team to go back home to work for his Grandfather's company, Jurgensen Builders.
Mr. Seel was predeceased by his wife Ursula in 1996. He is survived by his fiancé/partner of 28 years, Patricia Dempsey, stepdaughter Erin Dempsey and her wife Nicole, granddaughter Dylan Dempsey, a brother, two sisters and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Seel was a loving, kind person who greatly enjoyed laughter. He had great pride in his family and his home in Bayville. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A celebration of life will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. The family would like donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
