Thomas Joseph Murin Sr

Thomas Joseph Murin Sr, 79, of Lanoka Harbor NJ passed away on October 2, 2025, after a long battle with kidney failure.

Thomas was born in 1946 in Elizabeth NJ to William Murin and Mary (Seckman) Murin.

Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran.

Tom was a master mechanic working for Towne & County Chevrolet and McGuire Air Force Base, and retired as the Head Marine Mechanic for New Jersey State Police in Point Pleasant NJ.

Tom loved the water and could frequently be seen sitting at the end of Laurel Boulevard, looking out at the Barnegat Bay.

Tom is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice (Brents) Murin, his son Thomas Jr, his daughter Theresa Paynter and her husband, James, his grandsons Mitchell and Randall, and his brother William.
