Theresa Scotto Lawlor, 82, of Bayville, died peacefully on December 10, 2021, with her loving family at her side. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she moved to the Freehold area before retiring to Bayville in 2003. Mrs. Lawlor was an Administrative Secretary with J.L. Montgomery Long Care Health Facility in Freehold with 31 years of service. She earned her own special day (May 18, 2001) which was declared by the city’s Freeholders in Freehold for her care and dedication to the elderly.
Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Josephine Scotto and by her brother Michael.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years Paul; two children, Michael Lawlor and his wife Lori and Maria Quintana and her husband John; her grandchildren, Sean Lawlor, Patricia Lawlor, Jessica Quintana, Danielle Quintana; her brother Joseph Scotto and his wife Pauline. Also, many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 14th, from 3pm to 6pm at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Wednesday, 10am at the funeral home before celebrating an 11am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville NJ 08721. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, would be appreciated.
