Teresa Padovano, 86, of Bayville, died peacefully on October 8, 2021, with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Manhattan and raised in Staten Island, she lived in Long Island and Jersey City before moving to Bayville 20 years ago. Teresa was employed with Senior Services for the City of Newark but being a homemaker was very important to her. Being with family gave her the most joy in life. She had been predeceased by her grandmother Anna Padovano, by her mother Anna Ducatelli and by her sister Maryann Norberg.
Surviving are two children, her daughter Veronica Villarroel and her husband Rowland, and her son Charles Lopez. Also, she is survived by her three grandsons, Alexander Melendez, Jason Melendez, Branden George Lopez, and her Great Aunt Maria Lagomarsino.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Oct. 12th, from 4pm to 6pm, with a Prayer Service at 5:30pm, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Entombment will be 10:30am Wednesday (Oct. 13th) at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home at 9:30am before leaving to the cemetery.
