Susan K. Esposito

Susan K. (Tyler) Esposito, 70, also warmly known as Susie or Susie Q, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2022. She is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Richard Bush, and her biological father, Jesse Tyler. Susan was a single mother who raised two children and took great pride in her family, and easily expressed her love and gratitude. Susan loved her friends like family and treasured her relationships with them. She found her calling while self-employed with Susie Q Ice cream. A child at heart, she found great joy in bringing sweet treats to those young and old. Before retiring she was employed with Ocean County Vocational Technical School as a school bus driver. She so enjoyed the students, bringing them safely to and from their activities. Susan also valued her fellow staff and faculty, many of which she called her friends. At her retirement, she was recognized for her dedication, and this brought her great honor. 

She is survived by her beloved children, her son, Joseph Esposito, daughter in-law, Alison Esposito, her daughter, Elizabeth Pilla, and son-in-law, Joseph Pilla. Susan cherished her grandchildren whom she was incredibly proud of, Alexis (age 25), Kelsey (23) Nicholas (21), Louis (18), and great grandson, River (21 cd months). Susan is also survived by her sister, Joyce Baxter.

Susie’s attributes revealed she was outgoing, bubbly, optimistic, spiritual, and patriotic. She would strike a conversation with anyone. However more than all, she was absolutely the most kindest, selfless woman and touched the heart and soul of countless. We are so grateful to have you in our lives! Susie Q will be deeply missed by many.

A Memorial Gathering for relatives and friends will be offered on Tuesday, June 28th, from 4pm to 7pm, with a Prayer Service at 6pm, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
