Stewart “Danny” D. Jordan of Bayville New Jersey passed away at home on October 31, 2021, surrounded by his loving family and friends

In the earlier years of his life, he served proudly in the United States of America Army. Being trained by one of the best trainers known, Tommy Parks aka Bobby Czyz, Stewart then pursued & achieved a triumphant career in boxing, using “Danny” as his professional Irish name, following in his father’s footsteps.

On May 30, 1965, Stewart met Kay Lorraine Zimmermann and it was love at first sight, proposing the very next day. Stewart and Kay married on September 10, the following year, going on to have two children, a daughter Sharon and a son Gary. They would remain together and in love for the next 55 years until his last day.

Stewart is remembered for his charm, generosity, kindness, love of animals, antiquing and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Giants and Mets. But his favorite pass-time was heading to A.C. to play some slot machines and having fun spending time with his soul-mate Kay.

Stewart “Danny” is survived by his beloved wife; Kay, son; Gary, daughter; Sharon and her fiancé Mary Ellen McCarthy, and his God daughter Debbie Czachor. Additionally surviving are several siblings as Stewart was the eldest of 14 Children, a multitude of nieces and nephews; along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 4-7pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
