His heart led him to many ministries. He volunteered counseling prisoners in Bordentown and Trenton State prisons. He also taught confirmation preparation in the church's CCD program as well as Pre Cana. And he enjoyed singing and cantoring in the church's choir prior to following his calling as a Deacon. Stan was ordained Deacon with the Diocese of Trenton in May of 2012. And he has served as Saint Barnabas Church's Deacon for the past 14 years.

Surviving is his wife of 45 years Patricia, two children, Jeff Kendrick, and Jessica Corrigan and her husband Mike, four grandchildren David, Aimee, Tripp and Emma, three siblings, David Kendrick, Billy Kendrick and his wife Debbie, and Michelle Kendrick and her husband Gary Kaeser.
