Sean P. McTague

Sean P. McTague of Toms River, NJ passed away on June28th, 2025. He was 59 years old. Sean spent his entire life in NJ. He was born in Union County and resided in Roselle Park for 42 years before moving to Toms River in 2020. 

Sean was a loving husband to Leonor McTague for 5 years. Sean was a beloved sibling to his brother Andy and his wife Sherri. Sean was a proud Uncle to Andrew, Kaitlin and Kelly McTague, Francette Llorin and Great Uncle to William McTague.  

Sean attended Roselle Park High School and graduated with a BSN from Grand Canyon. Sean spent the last 10 years as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at New Horizon Surgical Center in Paterson, NJ.  

Sean had several interests including following the stock market, planning home projects and cooking and entertaining, where he will be remembered as a generous and gracious host. But his passion was his two German Shepherds, Prince and Mozart and recently departed Kal. 

A viewing will be held for Sean at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ 07204 on Wednesday July 2nd, 2025, from 5:00-8:00pm. A Mass will be offered on Thursday July 3rd, 2025, at 12:00pm at Saint Cecelia, 45 Wilus Way, Iselin, NJ 08830.
