Ruth J Barberio

Ruth J. Barberio, 82, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021. Born and raised in Newark, she settled to Beachwood in 1975 before finally moving to Toms River in 1988. Ruth was a store manager for A to Z Video in Toms River for many years and worked for General Instruments in Newark. She also enjoyed working games of chance on the Seaside Boardwalk. Ruth was an active member of the former Beachwood Italian American Club where she was Bocci-Ball Champion. She loved to crochet, play Bingo and especially loved her trips to Atlantic City.

Mrs. Barberio is survived by her husband of 52 years, Marty Barberio, her son Gerard Barberio, three grandchildren Matthew, Laci and Jaden; her sister Virginia Lupiano and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Viewing will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 3pm – 6pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City, Blvd. Bayville, NJ 08721.
