Rosalie Metsopulos Obituary

Rosalie Metsopulos, 81, of Beachwood passed away on June 23, 2024, peacefully at home.  She was surrounded by her loved ones and was listening to Elvis. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Newark, NJ in 1942 before moving to Beachwood, NJ in 1971. She worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for years. She enjoyed watching soccer, whether it was her grandchildren or Liverpool FC. Rosalie played her part in helping to start the Beachwood Soccer Club with her former husband Sal and remained involved for many years. She loved to decorate her home for Christmas and will be remembered for her holiday home displays (featuring many inflatables) which earned her town recognition year after year. 


Rosalie was predeceased by her son James Charles Caruso, husband Randall Saltzman, mother Rose Metsopulos and father Charles Metsopulos. Surviving are her three children Salvatore Caruso and wife Suzanne, Charles Caruso and wife Darlene and Cynthia Lane, one brother James Metsopulos, eight grandchildren, Crystal, Charles, Daniel, Kenneth, Mikayla, Keira, Kaden and Kolton and her dog Sassy.  


 A viewing for friends and family will be held on July 1st, 2024 from 4:00-8:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721, on Tuesday July 2nd a gathering of friend and family will meet at 8:30am at the funeral home before going to St. Barnabas Church in Bayville, NJ for a 9:30 Mass, followed by an entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
