Rosalie Capuano, 84, of Jackson, New Jersey, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2025, and is now at peace.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rosalie later made her home on Staten Island for many years before settling in Jackson. She retired from the New York City Court of Claims, where she dedicated her career with diligence and integrity.
Rosalie lived a full and joyful life. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking, entertaining, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially cherished her vacations in Florida and St. Maarten, where she found relaxation and happiness. Rosalie will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought into every gathering.
She was predeceased by her sister Marie Schembri and brother-in-law Charles Schembri. Rosalie is survived by her sister Linda Pensavalle; her son Craig Bias and his wife Dianne; her daughter Kerry Snyder and her husband George Snyder; her granddaughter Chloe Bias; her step-grandsons Chase Snyder and Corey Snyder; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and countless dear family members and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 with a Memorial Service at 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
