Ronald L. Greenbaum, 74, of Bayville passed away suddenly at home on November 7, 2022. Born in Manhattan, he was raised in the Bronx and has been a resident of Bayville for the past 45 years. Mr. Greenbaum was a Police Officer with Berkeley Township P.D. with over 28 years of service and retired as Lieutenant in 2007. He was an avid golfer, in his younger days was a Cub Scout Master in Berkeley. He was an accredited and certified scuba diver; he was also a T-Ball and little league baseball coach. Ron received his master’s degree in teaching from Nebraska College and taught English and Physical Ed. In Berkeley Township Schools.
Surviving is his wife Jody, four children, Paul Pettit and wife Sonja, Kevin Greenbaum, Marissa Greenbaum and fiancé Matthew Sypniewski, and Joseph Banis, two grandchildren, Brayden and Alexandra, and his close friend Todd Frickey.
