Robin Bahr Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and spirits that we announce the passing of Robin Bahr, 63, of Bayville, New Jersey. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robin departed this life peacefully at her home on November 16, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends at 6:16 PM. Robin was and always will be remembered in our lives as a loving wife of 42 years, a mother, grandparent, sister, friend, entrepreneur, realtor, philanthropist and devout Catholic. She made everyone's life brighter with her loving, joyous spirit, sense of humor and presence.

In addition to co-owning two businesses with her husband, Robin dedicated over 20 years to her career as a realtor. Her outstanding contributions were recognized when she received the Realtor of the Year Award. Over the years, she served on the Community Service Committee and was a proud member of various professional organizations, including the Residential Real Estate Council NJ/DE, where she held the position of Network Director. Robin was also an active member of the Women’s Council of Realtors, serving as State Governor and President in both 2008 and 2015. Her commitment to excellence earned her a place in the Circle of Excellence from 2001 to 2007, along with several prestigious awards such as the Good Neighbor Award and Million Dollar real estate agent designation for many years.

Robin was deeply involved in her community. She was a dedicated CCD teacher at Saint Barnabas, Eucharistic minister, Rosarian and received multiple awards, including from the American Cancer Society for her efforts in initiatives like Tides of Change and Relay for Life, Bras for a cause and Patti’s Prom Project. She was a founding member of the 100 women of ocean county college. Additionally, she organized Patti's Prom Project, which brought joy to many young people in need, among dozens of other charity events.

She was also a master gardener and florist, licensed cosmetologist, an avid writer and appreciator of the arts, often hosting her own art shows for charity. She always brought beauty to the lives of everyone she has touched.

Robin now joins her parents, Anne and Rich; her sister Colleen; his brother Jimmy; in-laws Christine and Howard; and nephews Bradford and Andrew. She leaves behind her loving husband Joe and their cherished children: Joe, Rich, Elisabeth, Amy, and Connor. Robin was also a proud grandmother to Maya, Jackson, Michael, Lily, and Violet. She is survived by her siblings Shelly, Lori, Annie, Sharon, Karen, Tammy, Eve, Don, Linda and Jim, along with over 40 nieces and nephews and their children.

Her legacy of kindness, huge-heartened, sense of humor, compassion and service will continue to inspire all who knew her and make ripples through the world. Her enormous legacy will continue to inspire us and guide those who had the honor of knowing her.
