Roberta " Bobbi" Grace MacNaughton

Roberta G. MacNaughton (aka, “Bobbi”) 80, of Whiting, New Jersey, died suddenly on June 7, 2022. Bobbi was born and raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, and was the daughter of the late William Saum and Grace Fitzpatrick-Saum. She lived in New Jersey until she met her husband, Jay F. MacNaughton. They moved to Rochester, New York, and raised their family there. She was a high school graduate and worked for the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital for 30 years before retiring.  Bobbi moved back to New Jersey in 2006.

 Bobbi is predeceased by her husband and best friend, Jay F. MacNaughton. Bobbi is survived by her three chilfren, Donald J. MacNaughton (Melissa MacNaughton) of Utica, New York, Dr.Myra K. Marshall (Kenneth Marshall) of Bayville, New Jersey and Lori Vilcheck (Brad Vilcheck) of Bristol Connecticut; 8 grandchildren, Michael MacNaughton (Kaylyn), Michele Frye (Silas), Mark MacNaughton, Monquet Terry, Kenneth Marshall,II, Arianna Marshall, Brennan Vilcheck and Donovan Vilcheck, and one great-grandchild, Everly Frye.

Bobbi loved animals, especially her dogs Sasha and Bear, the beach and reading. She was immensely proud of and loved her family a great deal and leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories.

Funeral Services are private with the family under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter or dog rescue organization.
