Robert B. Wojtaszek, 77, of Barnegat, died peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. Born and raised in Elizabeth, he lived there most all his life before moving to Barnegat in 2000. Mr. Wojtaszek was a Union Painter for many years before retiring from the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, based in Maryland. Bob enjoyed boating, crabbing & fishing in the Barnegat Bay and his time as a troop leader in Elizabeth many years ago with the Boy Scouts of America. He also loved his antique Ford, car shows, dancing and playing with his pugs Skipper, Cooper, and Parker. Just being with family & friends (particularly his "girls" helpers Terry & Sherry) gave him peace and joy. Bob is predeceased by his beloved wife Arlene in 2018 and by his pug Tiki.
Surviving are his two children, Sharon Wojtaszek and Jeffrey Wojtaszek; his two brothers, Leonard and Frank and his wife Anne Marie, and his sister Ann Samolyk and her husband John.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, March 31st, at 11am in St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville NJ 08721.
