Robert Leaver

Robert Leaver “Bob”, 94, of Bayville passed away on April 10, 2023. Born in 1928 in Kearny, NJ and spent 35 years in West Paterson before settling in Bayville.  Bob worked as a sheet metal worker for over 40 years before retiring in 1990. He enjoyed Playing Golf, cards, bowling, casinos, watching sports and lifelong friendships.

Predeceased by his parents Frank Leaver and Alice Laird,  five brothers and one sister.

Surviving are his wife Joan , who he married in 1956, three children, Elaine Lyons and husband John, Jeanne Leaver and Kenneth Leaver, three grandchildren, Sean, Daniel and fiancé Mikayla and Kerry Lyons and sister Delores Hubit.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 4pm – 8pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral will begin at 10am in the funeral home before leaving to celebrate a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Toms River at 11:30am.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ.
