Robert J Halucha
April 11th 1954 - March 16th 2021
"Death walks behind me, but Jesus has my back"
Robert J. Halucha joined our Lord on March 16th, 2021 at home with his family by his side. "Bob" was the youngest son in a military family and saw much of the country during his youth. Ultimately living in Bayville where he would spend most of his life. His youth was full of fun told stories that he would often reflect on and share. As a young man Bob started growing his family. He was a sentimental husband to his wife Sharon. A dedicated caring father to Justin, Bobby and Sean. A fun loving brother to Don and Ken. A friend to many. He steadfastly worked for many years in publishing for his brother Don. Bob had a big personality to match his 6'5" frame. His laugh was loud and boisterous, His smile infectious. His ability to have a good time was matched by his dedication and responsibility to whatever he focused on and was a man that could be counted on to do the right thing. Bob enjoyed golfing, shooting guns and launching model rockets with his 3 beloved sons. When he was home he could be found working in his pristinely well manicured yard as he was born with a green thumb. When indoors he could be found working on his beloved 66 GTO and 64 Corvette. Bob did not waste a drop of life.
As Bob grew older his appreciation for the important things in life became even more pronounced. He had a personal relationship with Jesus and relied on his faith through the difficult days. His faith was as strong as his character. His character was as strong as his positive outlook on life that me maintained until the end. Ultimately, his body could not keep up with him and he left us in the best possible way, the way he would want. There was no struggle, no pain. Peacefully he fell asleep in his own bed with his family beside him and woke up in the arms of our Lord.
A viewing will take place on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 1pm to 5pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
