Richard J Kistner

Richard James Kistner passed away on November 27, 2021 in AristaCare at Whiting.

Richie was born in Newark, NJ to August and Rose Kistner on May 15,1941. He lived a
majority of his life in Kearny and moved to Bayville later in order to be closer to his
family. He spent most of his employment in factories and ended his working career at
A&P Bakery. Richie could be found listening to music, searching for collectible items,
and cheering on the Yankees. He also loved laughing at old comedies, like The
Honeymooners and I Love Lucy. Richie’s sense of humor and boisterous laughter will
be missed.

Richie is survived by his sister Patricia Kistner and his brother George Kistner, his
in-laws William Beetsch, Annette Kistner, and Thomas Finch Jr., and his nieces and
nephews Kelly Marino, Ralph Kistner, Carla Kistner, Gianna Kistner, Kimberly Guccione,
and Tara Marie Finch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, August and Rose Kistner, and his sisters, Rose
Marie Beetsch and Deborah Finch.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to AristaCare at Whiting for their assistance
and support during this trying time.

A funeral mass for Richard will be held at St. Barnabas, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, NJ 08721, on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11am. Condolences can be sent to www.mastapetermemorialhome.com.
