Rebecca A. Smith of Bayville, N.J. went home to be with the Lord October 30, 2023. She was born in Pittsburgh PA, and was a resident of Bayville for more than five decades.
Rebecca (AKA Becky), loved to sing, dance, bowl, shop, knit, crochet, cook, give to those in need, and she loved St. Stephens Episcopal Church where she served as a Layreader, and member of the Vestry.
She is predeceased by her parents George Lewis and Molly James. She is survived by her brother George Lewis (Mildred), Sister Audry Lewis, Carol Fisher (sister in law), Aunt Louise.
She has four Children with her beloved husband ( predeceased William A. Smith Jr. of more than 52 years.) William A. Smith (aka Tony), Karen Moreland (Jonah), Lynda Lombardi (Ernie), and Robin Smith. They have three beloved grandchildren, Ernest, Alexandria, and Jessica. Peggy Johnson (Cousin), Goldiaree (Cousin). She had 3 God Children ( Craig predeceased), Shauna, and Josh. She leaves behind a host of friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She has told all of us at least once......"I am Blessed and Highly Favored.
A Memorial Gathering will be offered November 11,2023 from 9:30-10:30 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church 367 U.S. Route 9, Waretown, NJ 08758. Immediately following at 11:00am at the church. Family and friends may gather at the church in the hall.
