It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Raymond James Boertmann on February 20th at the young age of 29. Raymond was born on March 4th 1996, he grew up and lived in Bayville most of his life.
Raymond was mechanically gifted and ran three businesses before the age of 12. After motorizing his bicycle and making a trailer to transport my lawn equipment he started mowing lawns. He then invested in traps and began selling bait fish to local bait shops. His passion was fixing up and flipping Dirt bikes, Quads, go carts, turning a profit everytime. At age 16 he was head mechanic for a jet ski rental that he also managed.
Raymond had achieved so much before ever reaching adulthood, more then many people achieve during a lifetime. He had a rare patience and natural talent for fixing things and never hesitated to help someone in need.
More than anything Raymond had a heart of gold and a soul you never forget. He showed love through actions rather than words and made sure to lift your spirits, if you were down. Raymond's confidence and consideration for others was truly one of a kind.
He is proudly survived by his parents Dawn Boertmann and Ned Larrabee, sister Allie Marinnie, Grandmother (Nana) Pat Brennan and partner Jack Tillet, Aunt and Uncles Scott and Wendy Jensen, Lane Boertmann, Michael and Nicole Breidenbach, cousins Becky Webster, Scott Jensen Jr., and Madison Breidenbach. Along with so many friends who were nothing less than his family.
He is predeceased by mother Lisa Ball, Grandfather (Googie) Wally Boertmann, and Great aunt Alice Glenn
We were all so lucky to have had Raymond in our lives, to have loved and to have been loved by him. He will live forever in our hearts with every memory we share. We will be celebrating his Life at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 on Sunday, April 26th from 1 to 4 pm.
