Paul J. Kenny, 72, of Bayville, N.J. passed away on September 19, 2022. Born in New York City, raised in Brooklyn and lived in Bayville since 1988. Mr. Kenny had retired as the Supervisor of the Paint Shop from the maintenance department of Community Medical Center after 20 years of service. He was an avid Giants and Yankee fan and loved all sports as a player and coach. He can easily be remembered at every sporting event for his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and even great nieces and nephews. He absolutely loved watching his grandchildren and was always their biggest fan. He also loved to entertain his family and friends. Hosting holidays and cooking Sunday dinners weekly just to make sure his family was always close by his side. He was the definition of a loving family man and adoring husband and will be missed tremendously.
Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Kathleen; 5 children, Janel Houck and husband Casey, Jacqueline Trumbull and husband Matt, Paul Kenny III, and wife Petrina, Jennifer Kenny-Figueroa , and Raymond Kenny; his mother, Anna Paterno; three siblings, Dennis Kenny and wife Terri, Raymond Kenny and Donald Knight, and Jean Rose Giannone and husband Thomas; sister-in-law Mary-Ann Kenny; brother-in-law Robert Higgins, and brother-in-law Lawrence McGee and wife Gail ; grandchildren, Logan, Hailey, Ethan, Jake, McKenna, Johnny, Paul IV, Sean, Kailyn, Joseph, Edwin, Norah and Trent, and 57 nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his Dad, Paul Kenny Sr., sisters Joanie Higgins and Maureen Kenny and brother Kevin Kenny.
There will be a viewing for Mr. Kenny on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ. 08721. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 9:30am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Dr., Bayville, NJ 08721, with a burial to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Toms River.
