It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick (Pat) Maglione, announce his passing on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the age of 92 years, just one day shy of his 93rd Birthday, after a valiant struggle with health issues.
Pat was born and raised in Jersey City. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and after his Honorable Discharge, he returned to Jersey City. His first career move was to work at Westen Electric. In 1964, he attended the Police Academy, graduated and joined the Jersey City Police Department. Pat had a very successful career with Jersey City Police Department retiring as a Police Captain. While a Police Officer he enjoyed playing in their softball league.
Pat retired with his wife Dorothy to Ocean Gate in the early 1990's. Once retired he was well known in the area for his Lighthouse and Nautical oil paintings. Besides his love of painting, he was an avid reader and enjoyed landscaping, fishing, boating, and hanging out with his Ocean Gate friends.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Christine and her husband Lance, and son Mark and his wife Valerie. He will be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren Andrew and his wife Allison, Jason and Michael; and two great grandchildren; and many friends. Pat was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Maglione (2020) their daughter Patricia Maglione (1964), and his brother Stephen Maglione (2020).
Memorial Services and interment will be held privately for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to any reputable charity is appreciated.

Pat loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
