Patricia C Riggi

Patricia Catherine Riggi (nee Rosta), 51, was taken from us far too early. Patti touched many lives, and those who were fortunate enough to have known her or spend time with her, thought of her as kind, loving, and generous. Patti’s kids were her life. Olivia Anastasia, Joseph Gregory, Madeline Gabrielle and Sydney Nicole, alongside her husband Domenico Luis, all meant the world to her. She would do anything for them and everything with them. Patti was a lifelong New Jersey resident, growing up in East Windsor and Cranbury, where she developed friendships and relationships that continued throughout her life. Patti was a graduate of Lawrence High School and received a BA from Rider University. Later on Patti and her family resided in Bayville. In recent times, Patti returned to educating children, having joined Green Thumb Day Care and Preschool. This brought her a renewed joy and passion for education and she loved her classroom children. Patricia had additional passions in life, which included crafting, reading, watching movies, and playing games.

She is survived by many others who loved her dearly. Her parents Patricia Rosta and Joseph J. Rosta. Her brothers Joseph J. Rosta, III (Dolores Metcalfe), Gregory M. Rosta (Suzanne Rosta). Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gina and Alan Tanz. Her niece Rebecca Tanz and nephews Matthew Tanz, Matthew A. Rosta, Gregory J. Rosta, and Jonathan A. Rosta. Her tremendous family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children. Patti was loved by everyone she met, and therefore left behind countless friends, coworkers and colleagues. Patti also loved her dogs. She leaves behind Bean and Buttercup. All will miss her greatly.

To celebrate her life, a gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 6pm to 9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd. Bayville, NJ 08721. Entombment will take place on Wednesday at 10:30am at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at (stjude.org), would be greatly appreciated.
