Patricia Sue (Lilley) Sherlock

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Sue Sherlock (Lilley) on October 10, 2024 at the age of 72. Taken entirely to soon, she leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience that will forever remain in our hearts.

Born on January 9, 1952, Patty dedicated her life to her family, embodying the essence of love, sacrifice, and generosity.  She taught us the value of kindness, always reminding us that small acts of love could change the world. Whether is was through her comforting hugs, her warm smile, or her gentle yet funny words of encouragement, cookies or special packages sent in the mail, she had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and cherished.

Patty was a vibrant force, a true spirit whose presence could elevate the energy of any room. The legend of her captivating voice and remarkable talent for entertainment inspired countless individuals and will forever remain etched in our memories.

Patty is survived by her adoring husband Bill Sherlock, their blended family that includes their children Jamie Droeg, Mandy O’Brein, Anita Corbin, Dave Sherlock, Danny Sherlock, Robbie Sherlock and Randy Sherlock along with 15 grandchildren and even 3 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind her treasured sisters Janet Bell, Nancy Underwood and Kim Smith, her step-brother Jan Repko, as well as her devoted cousins, nieces, and a nephew who all showed her love and support until the very end.  She is also predeceased by her brother Edward John Lilley and her parents Edward Lilley and Eva Bartholomew (Lilley).

As we mourn her loss, we celebrate the beautiful memories we created together.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that you honor Patty’s memory by contributing to Alzheimer’s research.  Your generosity will help ensure that future generations may be spared from the challenges she faced. Donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association helping to further research and support for families impacted by this disease.

A memorial service will be held on November 16th at 1:00pm at the White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church located at 6 Mattison Road, White Lake, New York 12786.  We will gather to share stories and celebrate the extraordinary life of Patty. Arrangements are under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Thank you for your love and support during this challenging time.
