Pamela Lee Struble, 65, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of William Struble, she was born in Plainfield NJ in 1958 to Arlene and Donald Borup of Colts Neck where she grew up happily as one of six children. Pam attended Cedar Drive School and Marlboro High School before obtaining her degree in Dental Assisting from The Bryman School, in 1979. She worked in that field for many years, after which she took time to be at home with her cherished newborn son, Kyle. She later took a job with Blue Cross Blue Shield where she worked for almost 30 years to help contribute to her family’s many blessings. She also served on the PTA for Bayville Elementary School.
Her two sons, Kyle and Shane, were the absolute joys of her life. She was always involved in their many pursuits and found great joy in being a very important part of their lives. Keeping a warm and welcoming home was important to her. She also enjoyed the beach, traveling, walks along the river, and most of all, socializing with her many friends and her family.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William Struble, her cherished children Kyle and Shane Struble, her mother Arlene Borup, her brothers and sisters, Allison Liberty, Scott Borup, Gregory Borup and Donna Caruso. They will all miss her immensely. She is preceded in death, and joins in God’s heavenly kingdom her adoring Father, Donald Borup (1931-2017) and her dear brother Douglas Borup (1954-2012). Also grieving her loss are her loving sisters-and brothers-in-law Jeanne Struble Sokoloff, Joanne Struble, George Struble, Ed Liberty June Borup, James Caruso, Doris Borup and her countless admiring nieces and nephews and their children. She will also be deeply missed by her treasured and faithful childhood friends who provided her with great comfort and care until her final days, Cris Orgo Wyatt and Kim Buzzell DeMasco.
Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be offered on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm, at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville.
