Michael J. Izzo

Michael J. Izzo, 89, of Beachwood, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 24, 2025. He was born in Hackensack, NJ and raised in Carlstadt. He lived many years in Lodi before moving to Beachwood in 1981. 

Mr. Izzo was employed with UPS with over 30 years of service. Michael proudly served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Albany CA-123. He was an active parishioner with St. Barnabas Church and served there as a Church Usher. He enjoyed crabbing and making his special dinners with the crabs he caught. 

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Gail and 5 children, Michael and his wife Vicki, Chris and his wife Lisa, Jacqui Moich and her husband Matt, Michele Maxim and Nick Izzo, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many friends. 

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00-4:00pm with a Prayer Service at 3:30pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721, followed by the Honor Guard Service at 3:45pm.
