Mary M. Trumper
1934 – 2025
Mary M. Trumper, 91, of Pine Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025. Born in Pana, Illinois, Mary made Pine Beach her home for the past 65 years, where she built a life centered on family, tradition, and love.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family. As a full-time homemaker, she created a warm and nurturing home, where she instilled lasting values and created treasured memories.
Mary shared a deep bond with her beloved husband, Richard Trumper, with whom she explored the country on countless road trips. Together, they brought joy and adventure to their children and grandchildren, who often joined them on these cherished journeys. She also enjoyed traveling beyond the U.S., with memorable trips to Europe and Hawaii, often in the company of close friends or family.
Creative and kind-hearted, Mary had a passion for sewing, especially clothing for her young daughter, and took pride in her role as a Cub Scout den mother for many years. She also found joy in ceramics, cooking, and catered many family weddings. Her meals nourished more than just the body-they brought people together. Every gathering was infused with her warmth and care.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Richard; her parents, George and Nora Comisky; and her son, Robert Trumper.
She is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses: Victor and Corrina Trumper, Richard and Karen Trumper, David and Augustina Trumper, and Kathy and Anthony Zaccaro. Mary is the cherished grandmother to her many grandchildren: Victor, Nicholas, Michael, Richard, Diana, Olivia, Rachel, Melissa, Ian, Josh, and Megan. Her legacy will continue through her fourteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love, her creative spirit, and her deep devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Viewing for family and friends will be on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Memorial Home, Bayville. Burial will be private with the family in Illinois.
