Mary "Frees" Davis

Mary Therese Davis, 87, of Waretown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1st, 2022. She has touched the lives of many along the way as a caring nurse and a passionate owner of the family’s small business, Noah’s Ark Day School located in Waretown, NJ. Mary was blessed with a large and loving family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Davis and her ten siblings; she was the youngest of eleven children.

She is survived by her three daughters: Sharon Baxter, Maureen Barte and her husband Mike, Nancy Applegate and her husband Frank. Mary is also survived by six grandchildren, and six more great-grandchildren.

Mary was a strong woman, loving wife, proud mother, and the absolute best grandmother and GGma there ever was. She leaves behind her legacy that will live on through all of us each day.

A Graveside Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 8th, 2022, at 11am, at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville is in charge of arrangements.
