Mae Lorelli

Mae Lorelli of Bayville died peacefully in her sleep on January 30, 2024. Mae would have celebrated her 100th birthday this spring. Born in Ravenna, Ohio on May 28, 1924, Mae was one of nine children and raised on a farm during the great depression. She married, moved to Brooklyn and then to Scotch Plains NJ where she raised her 2 children. Mae worked for Allstate Insurance before retiring and moving to Bayville in 1993. Devoted to her family, Mae adored her husband Domenick and they were happily married for 68 years. In retirement Mae enjoyed an active social life playing bocce ball, cards and traveling with friends from her Sonata Bay community.

Surviving is her husband Domenick, children Angela with husband Gary and Domenick with wife Lisa. Four grandchildren Doug, Cara, Kyle and Zach. Step-grandchild Jenn and her husband Josh, two great step-grandchildren Cooper and Ella. Surviving siblings are Laura, Mary and Nick.

There will be a Memorial Gathering on February 10th  from 11:00-1:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
