Lucille Mary (Consorti) Schnakenberg, 79, of Bayville NJ, the beloved matriarch of our family, passed away peacefully on Sunday July, 16th surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Lucille was born on December 18th 1943 in Manhattan, New York the daughter of Thomas and Josephine Consorti. From an early age, it was evident that Lucille possessed a remarkable spirit and a genuine love for life.
Throughout her lifetime, Lucille's heart overflowed with love for her family, her beloved husband Maurice, and her dogs Rosie and Bruno. She dedicated herself to creating a warm and nurturing home, where love, laughter, tradition, and memories were cherished above all else. Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into ensuring their happiness and well-being.
Professionally, Lucille carried on her Fathers thriving insulation business after working her way up through the company. Through her dedication and hard work, she continued building a reputable company that not only provided exceptional service but also played a vital role in supporting her family since 1951. She was truly admired by her employees and customers alike. Her commitment to excellence earned her numerous accolades and awards within her industry, Including being awarded the New York Building Managers Associations Vendor of the year in 2008, a testament to her unwavering work ethic.
Beyond her business endeavors, Lucille was an active member of the Forked River Tuna Club Ladies Club. She found great joy in engaging with like-minded individuals, sharing her passions, and contributing to her community. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a treasured member and a source of inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lucille's absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives she touched. Her unconditional love, guidance, and endless support were a source of strength that will be sorely missed. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories created together, the laughter shared, and the love that radiated from her presence.
In Lucille's memory, we are reminded to live each day to the fullest, to love unconditionally, and to nurture the bonds that connect us. She will forever be remembered as a remarkable woman who embodied compassion, kindness, and resilience. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved, and her spirit will continue to guide us as we navigate life's journey without her.
Lucille is survived by her three Children: Steven, Lorraine, who has lived with her and lovingly been her caretaker for the past two years, William and her Son in Law Norman. Her Step Children Doug and his wife Paula, Kim and her Partner Chris, David and his wife Jenn, Josh and his wife Megan, and Chris and his wife Kelly. Her adored grandchildren, who referred to her as Mana, Jessica and her fiancé Juan, Joseph, Nina, Madison and her husband Danny, Samantha and her husband Gordy, Justin, Andrew and his wife, Brianna, Miles, Rose, and Everett. Her great grand children Logan, Sophia, Everly, Guinevere, Griffin, and Jake and a host of extended family members and friends who became family over the years. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone before her.
A viewing and remembrances will be held on July 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and July 29th from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Boulevard, Bayville NJ followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the K9s for Warriors Organization, as a tribute to Lucille's caring nature and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
