Lucille Lameiras

Lucille Lameiras, 89, of Ocean Gate, NJ passed away on January 25, 2026. Born and raised in Newark, NJ (Ironbound section) until she moved to Ocean Gate, NJ. Lucille worked at Lakehurst Naval Base until she retired in 2003. 

Lucille was lovely known to friends as “LuLu” or “Lou”. Lucille lived a beautiful life defined by strength, creativity, and a heart devoted to her family. 

A true jack of all trades. Lucille had a special gift for making a home warm and full of love. She was an excellent cook who could prepare any cuisine and had a remarkable ability to build, sew, and create with care and pride. 

 Above all, she adored her family. She deeply cherished her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They meant the world to her. 

Lucille will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her talents, her cooking, and the love she poured into everything she did. 

Lucille is predeceased by her husband Joseph Lameiras, parents, Jose Fernandes and Marie Miele. Surviving is her children, Joe Lameiras and his fiancé Lori, Michael Lameiras and his wife Cathy, and Linda Rullo and her husband Dan Rullo, eight grandchildren, Jill Lameiras, Jodyn Lameiras, Joseph Lameiras and his wife Amanda, Michele Lameiras, Ashley Lameiras, Jessica Lameiras, Daniel Rullo, Briana Rullo and Samantha Rullo, two great grandchildren, Adriana and Joe, and two sisters Maryanne Roccia and Geraldine Czupkiewicz also many nieces and nephews.  

Viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2025, from 5:00-7:30pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., NJ 08721
