Lloyd W Sloan

Lloyd W. Sloan, 77, of Bayville, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 22, 2025. He was born in Toms River, NJ and lived many years in Bayville and the Ocean County area. Lloyd served his country proudly in the US Navy on the USS America and worked on aircraft carriers. He worked for PerkinElmer, in Long Branch as a computer technician for many years. Mr. Sloan was a member of the VFW of Bamber, NJ. He was a huge NY Yankees fan, he enjoyed gardening and woodworking, he was a jack of all trades but a master of them all. As a young man Lloyd enjoyed the lakes and rivers of Toms River and Bamber. Lloyd was a devoted husband, grandfather and great grandfather, he was truly a family man.  

Lloyd is predeceased by his parents Walter Sloan and Geneva Cornelius. Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years Lillian, three children, daughter Dawn Sloan and fiancé Tommy, two sons, Daniel Sloan and his wife Zina, and Lloyd Joseph and his wife Jan, seven grandchildren, Connor James, Trent, Danielle, Makayla, Mason, Paityn, and Pyper and two great grandchildren, Malakai and Azariah, one sister, Debrah Moeller, one brother Richard Sloan also, his uncle and aunt, Ronald and Barbra Eckert, and his aunts Pat McGinnis, Carole Sloan and Lorraine Sloan and many nieces, nephews and friends.
