Linda Lowe Obituary

Linda Daryl Lowe, 77, of Bayville, passed away on March 20 th 2023 surrounded by her Family at Jersey Shore Medical Center after a short battle with Lung Cancer. Linda was born in Keyport on May 4 1945. Lived in Union Beach before moving to Bayville in 1957. She attended Central Regional High School. She worked as a waitress at Woolworths and the Beachwood Diner, was a cashier at the Cedar Creek Golf Course, ended her career as a Secretary at Ace Electric in 2017. Linda was a Life Member of the VFW. A 19 Year member of the Bayville Elks Lodge #2394. She Loved Family gatherings in Atlantic City (Slots too), Pizza Sunday’s at the Anchor Inn, and had to stop in at the Sand Castle Diner every day to visit with her extended Family. Linda also loved to vacation in Ocean City, MD every summer with her Family and watch the Dolphins swim by.

Linda was Predeceased by her Parents Walter Gretschel, Sr. and Gloria Herrick Gretschel, and a grandson in 2010, Bobby Jenkins.

Surviving are her Loving Husband of 61 Years, Donald R Lowe, Sr. Children, Theresa (Terry) Hewatt and husband Vinnie of Bayville, NJ, Dennis Lowe and Fiance Maryanne Dickert Bourbon of Lanoka Harbor, NJ, Donald Lowe Jr. and wife Lisa of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Linda Froelich and husband Robert of Whiting, NJ, Thomas Lowe and Carrie of Bayville, NJ and Denise Stover of Cape Coral, FL. Grand Children Melissa, Scott, Linda, Alyssa, James, Jason, Danielle, Desiree, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Richard, Steven, Jarrett, Gracie, Brian, Michelle and Mathew. Great Grandchildren, Christabelle, Leanna, Cerynise, Scotty, Hunter, Lily, Revan and Cheyenne. Brother, Walter Gretschel and wife Joan of Barnegate, NJ Two sisters, Dawn Spiegeland and husband Ben of Cape Coral,FL and Gloria Wallace and husband Andrew of North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews. Many Broken Hearts. She will truly be Missed!!

As per Linda’s request, Services are going to be private with the Family under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home, Bayville, NJ
