Leo Rabinowitz, 97, of Bayville, NJ passed away on February 24, 2021. Born in Orange, he lived many years in Newark, Clark and Fair Lawn, NJ before settling in Bayville 26 years ago. Leo was self-employed, owning and operating Leo & Ray's Auto Repair in Fair Lawn since 1971. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during World War II as an airplane mechanic. Leo was an avid card player and enjoyed volunteering in his community at Sonata bay.
Mr. Rabinowitz is predeceased in death by his wife of 50 years Jeanette in 2015. Surviving are his four children, Linda Kasica and her husband Stanley, Diane Duke and her husband Jimmie, Ray Loomis and his wife Dulcineia and Guy Rabinowitz; 6 grandchildren Jeanette, Sara, Jonathan, Allison, Leigh and Samantha; 3 great grandchildren Sydney, Lucas and Madelyn.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 from 2 PM to 4 PM.
