Kevin M. McGrath, 74, of Lanoka Harbor passed away after an illness on November 21, 2023. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Born August 17, 1949, he was raised in Newark, New Jersey and eventually settled in Lanoka Harbor to raise his family. After serving in the United States Air Force, Kevin enjoyed a career in the airline industry. Above all else, Kevin cherished time with his children, and grandchildren. Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Helen (Ruane) McGrath, and brothers, John, Thomas, and Michael. Kevin was a loving husband to his wife of 50 years, Judith. He was a devoted and immensely proud father to his children K.C. and wife Kristen, Nicole Bootier and husband Michael, Brian and wife Catia. And most of all, Kevin was a doting and adoring grandfather known as Poppy to the lights of his life, his grandchildren; Natalie, Juliana, Joseph, William, Emma, and his great nieces and nephews; Lena, Zoe, Jack, Declan, and Callie. He was deeply loved by many more cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing will be Sunday, November 27, 2023, from 12:00 to 4:00 at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral will be Monday, 9:30am at the funeral home before celebrating a 11am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville. Burial will be private in the family plot.
