Ken went on to work many jobs throughout his life, but his career was highlighted by working as an Engineer at the Hess Corporation. He was known for having a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ken was a student of the world – constantly soaking up knowledge, and had an interesting fact about pretty much anything. He enjoyed knowing “how things worked” and remained a jack of all trades until his final days. Ken was known as a storyteller who often shared his incredible life experiences with his family. He took pride in the simple pleasures of life.

Ken’s purest joy in life was his family. In 1961, Ken married Mary DiBiase, and together they raised two children in Fair Haven, NJ. Over 61 years, Ken & Mary, enjoyed traveling and exploring the country together. He was a cherished Grandfather, who enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren’s sporting events, hosting family gatherings and barbecues, taking boat rides, and spending time with the people he loved most.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Mary Wittenmeyer, two children Julianne Aurichio and Kenneth Wittemeyer, “Pop Pop” to five grandchildren: Frank & Danielle Aurichio, and Jessica, Matthew, & Isabel Wittenmeyer.
