Kenneth Leaver

Kenneth Leaver, 61, of Bayville, NJ, beloved son of Joan and the late Robert Leaver, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2024. Born in Passaic, grew up in West Paterson, and graduated from William Paterson College in Fine Arts with a Bachelor-Design and a Master’s Degree-Visual Arts.

Kenny had great enthusiasm for gardening; he was a creative landscaper and designer of many gardens and outdoor spaces. Loved American history, the holidays, family gatherings, and had a talent for decorating. He was hard-working, enjoyed talking to people and always made time to help everyone.

Surviving are his sisters Elaine Lyons (husband John) and Jeanne Leaver, devoted Uncle to Sean, Daniel and wife Mikayla and Kerry Lyons and many longtime friends and customers.

Kenny will truly be missed and cherished as thoughtful, generous, honest and an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. His memory will be kept alive when you see beautiful plants, flowers and meticulous landscaping.

Viewing will be Friday, August 2nd, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm,at Mastapeter Memorial Home,270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville.  Funeral Saturday, August 3rd at 9:00am at the funeral home before celebrating a 10:30am Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave, Toms River. A burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 1 Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook, NJ 07662.
