Joseph DiTore

Joseph DiTore, 83, of Bayville, New Jersey, passed away on October 30th, 2024. Joe was born in Brooklyn and lived in Cresskill, New Jersey, many years with his wife, Linda, with whom he shared a 42- year storybook marriage, and their sons, Joseph (Maureen), Douglas, Jonathan, and Robert, before moving to Bayville 19 years ago.  Joe had been retired from his long-time career as a Sales Rep for ADT Security .  

Joe was the amazing Poppy to his grandchildren, Jenna (Michael), Julia, Kayla, Alyssa, Gina, and Jonathan.   He is also survived by his sister, Phyllis Scuderi, and many nieces and nephews.

Family was everything to Joe.  He took great pride in serving his delicious Italian tradition of homemade sauce, meatballs, rice balls, and mozzarella.  He was never short on making sure he said, “I love you.”  Anyone fortunate enough to know him, can confirm that he had the biggest heart and an amazing sense of humor. 

He will be sorely missed.  We will forever celebrate the beautiful memories we created together.

A service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 2nd from 1pm-5pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic Blvd., Bayville, NJ.
