Joseph Di Bartolo Obituary

Joseph Di Bartolo, 90, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey and married the love of his life, Maria. They moved to Galveston, Texas, opened a successful restaurant, The Godfather’s Italian Restaurant. After the restaurant closed after 15 years in operation, Joseph worked for the Olive Garden restaurant for 25 years as a Pasta chef/ Host.


Joseph enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 years of age and served during the Korean War from 1952-1955.


Predeceased by the love of his life, Maria.


Surviving are his three children, Linda Bock (Gregory), Frances Lucia(Michael), Richard Di Bartolo, and his only grandchild, Nina Bella Lucia. Joseph was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He showed us unconditional love and always made sure to tell us he loved us.
