John Michael Pinto

John Michael Pinto, 89, of Manchester Township, NJ passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, moving to Union Beach at a young age, living there until 1985 where he moved to Manchester Township, NJ. After retiring, he moved to Bedford, Virginia, then moved back here in 2025. Mr. Pinto was employed with International Flavor & Fragrance Company in Union Beach for over 32 years before retiring. John proudly served his country in the US Army. He loved all sports, loved to read, and was a devoted family man. While living in Virginia John was a devoted member of the Brookside Christian Church and became a mentor for the congregation.  

John is predeceased by his two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Pinto.   

Surviving is his wife of 41 years Donna, and five children, Michele Jansen and her husband John, Robin Smallmon and her husband Tony, Anthony Merrill and his wife Alexis, Garry Merrill and Dina Merrill, also surviving are seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his loving neighbors and devoted friends Rob and Becky Hensley. 

Funeral Services are private at this time, under the direction of Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
