John Albert Parisi, 84, was born in Hackensack, NJ on October 13, 1940, to Albert Parisi and Tomasina (nee Varcadipane). He was a painter by trade and had his own business at one time. He was a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. Even after decades of painting, he loved his work and was a true perfectionist. He was working at the (then) Giants Stadium when he retired in 2002.
In 2003 he moved to the shore area with his partner of 25 years, AnnaMarie Formato.
John enjoyed his time at the shore. He loved boating, crabbing, gardening, classic cars and cooking.
John leaves behind his daughter-in-law, Donna, wife of his predeceased son, John and their children Brandon Parisi and his fiancé Tiffany, and Ashley Zafonte and her husband Vincent and their children Benjamin and Jackson. He is also predeceased by his wife Yvonne, and his son Kenneth and his sisters, Ann and Margaret. He also leaves behind a brother Albert and a son Bryon, his wife Phyllis, their children, Daniella, DeAnna and Tony and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Viewing for family and friends will be on Sunday March 30, 2025, from 3:00-7:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral will be Monday, March 31, 2025, at 9:30 am at the Funeral Home, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd., Bayville, NJ 08721.
