John J. Crowley Jr., 83, of Forked River, died peacefully on December 14th 2024. Born in East Orange, NJ, and raised in Bloomfield, NJ, he later relocated to Lacey Township with his family in 1985. John was employed by the Star Ledger for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer and member of the Lacey Elks. He loved the Brooklyn Dodgers, enjoyed cooking and listening to the oldies. John was most happy living near the ocean, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
John is predeceased by his father John, mother Lucille and brother Edward. He is survived by his sister June Rosemary Yannuzzi and husband James. John also leaves behind his two beloved children, Kelly Crowley, Edward Crowley, his fiancée Melissa Giordano, and granddaughter Valentina, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 12:00-3:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721 with a Memorial Service at 1:00 at the Funeral Home.
