John Bojarski, 69, passed away in the early morning on Sunday, September 10, 2023 to enter eternal life. John was born on December 20, 1953 to Chester and Irene Bojarski. He was born in Elizabeth and grew up in Rahway before moving to Perth Amboy. He then moved to Toms River in 1982 where he resided with his wife, Susan, and raised his family.
John graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1972 where he played football. He then went on to work for the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades Local 1976. He worked in this union for over 30 years as a Drywall Finisher. John was an extremely hardworking man, and made sure that his family was always provided for. As a child he loved going with his family to Nanticoke, PA, to visit his grandparents. He also enjoyed going to amusement parks and taking vacations with his children when they were young.
He was raised a devoted Catholic and made sure he attended church every Sunday with his children. John was a die-hard Notre Dame football fan and loved watching football on the weekends. He enjoyed good food and wine and loved going out to dinner with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, floating around in his pool, listening to his oldies music, taking vacations with his family, and reading the newspaper with his coffee early every morning. His love for his dogs was never unseen. He loved walking in the park with his dogs Bella and Jada and spoiling them like they were his children.
John is now reunited with his predeceased parents, Chester and Irene, his beloved grandmother, Mary Wlazlowski, whom he called “Babci” along with many beloved aunts and uncles that he was close with.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Susan, three daughters Laura Guzzi, Lisa Denman and Mary Berndt along with their spouses Jerry, Michael, and Joseph; his brother and his wife; Chester and Rosemary Bojarski and his sister and her husband; Debra and Tommy Veltre. He is also survived by his 7 grandsons; Joseph, Brennen, Jerry, Anthony, Leo, Ryan, and Andrew; 2 beautiful granddaughters Alice and Julianna; and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all that loved him.
A viewing will be held by his family on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ.
