Joan Lowe Obituary

Joan Marie Lowe passed away on August 6th at the age of 65 peacefully. She was a lifelong Bayville resident and worked at A&P, Cumberland Farms and Tallwoods Care Center prior to retiring. She went to Central Regional High school from 1970-1975.

As a lifelong Bayville resident, she leaves behind a community filled with family and friends who will dearly miss her. Her joy in life came from helping others and taking the time to listen or lend a helping hand. In her early years Joan was known for her watercolor and acrylic paintings and her free spirit.

Joanie was best known by friends and family for her beautiful flowering gardens and making everyone smile with her flower arrangements. Her love of gardening has been a lifelong passion and she will always be remembered for her colorful bouquets. She was a caring mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. Everyone will miss her caring nature and her warm smiles.

She leaves behind her children Elizabeth Fisher, husband Brian, her son Kevin Lowe, daughter in law Brenda, her daughter Laura Hoffman and five grandchildren Logan, Calvin, Jimmy, Jalen and Aaron.  She deeply loved her family and will always be in their hearts and minds. Most of all she will be missed by her grandchildren who she was so proud of. Her family finds comfort in the fact she can rest easy now and be without worry.

She is predeceased by her parents, LCDR Richard H. and Ellen M. Lowe of Bayville; her brothers, Richard H. Lowe Jr. of Florida, CPO Charles James Lowe of Ocean Gate, Joseph E. Lowe, William R. Lowe, both of Forked River, John David of Bayville and her sister Barbara A. Skordrud of East Windsor. She is survived by brothers, Michael H. Lowe of Lilburn, Ga., Donald R. Lowe of Bayville, and John C. Lowe of Florida; and her sister, Ellen M. Beale of Forked River, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as his extended family.
