Obituary

 Joan A. English, 75, of Barnegat passed away on February 23, 2023. Born in Newark, she lived most of her life in Manahawkin before settling in Barnegat. She was employed as a Security Guard at Sands Casino in Atlantic City and as an Alarm Dispatcher for Securall Monitoring Corp. in Brick, NJ. Joan loved animals, especially her dogs. Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Frances English, sister Kathleen Porter, and nephew Charles English. Surviving are her nieces Donna English, Pauline English, great-niece and nephew, Lisa Ruding and husband Jason, Charles English and girlfriend Jeralynn, great-great nieces and nephew, Charlie and Aubriella, her nephew Nicholas English and brother-in-law Robert Porter. Also surviving is her significant other, Carl Davis.

There will be a viewing for Joan on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 7pm-9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. The burial will take place on March 4th   at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 283 Beachview Ave, Manahawkin, NJ 08005.
