Joan Ann Ardise

Joan Ann Ardise, 88, of Bayville, died peacefully at home on December 13, 2023. Born and raised in Paterson, she has been a resident of Bayville since 1959. Joan was employed with the Board of Education of Berkeley Township as secretary to the Bayville School in the 60’s and 70’s. She then was secretary with John Hill Insurance Agency in Bayville for many years before retiring in the late 90’s. Joan loved to travel with family and friends. She also enjoyed her Ladies Night Card Games and family time together.

Mrs. Ardise was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1987 and by her son Louis in1991, and her two daughters, Lori Ardise in 2005 and Barbara Fitzpatrick in June of this year.

Surviving are her two children, Luanne Martinock and her husband Gary, and Christopher Ardise and his wife Shannon and son in law Michael Fitzpatrick. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be offered on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm, with a Prayer Service at 3:30pm, in the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville.
