Jay Palmieri Obituary

Jay Sylvester Palmieri, age 61, of Beachwood, NJ passed away on July 24, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 2, 1965 in Toms River to parents Albert and Nancy Palmieri. With Jay’s love for HVAC came his lifelong career of being the owner /operator of Jay Palmieri Heating & Air Conditioning where he serviced his loyal customers and community, with whom he then shared with his son Michael.

In his free time, Jay loved riding his Harley, collecting his antique cars, cooking, telling long-winded stories and jokes to friends and family, and sneaking his puppies treats. His family will remember his late-night escapades to the kitchen to satisfy his sweet tooth. Every morning started with a phone call to his cousin Peter Palmieri, who was more like a brother to him. Those who knew Jay always knew of his love for giving those around him nicknames. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, kind, loving personality, and positive outlook on life. For those who were in need, Jay was always happy to lend a helping hand. His heart will always be bigger than his smile.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly; children, Harli and husband Rob, Skye, Michael and Jayme; grandchildren Ariana and Mason, along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Albert Palmieri, and his sister Debbie McConnell.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mastapeter Memorial Home at 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church at 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville, NJ.

Anyone who shared Jay's love of classic cars and motorcycles is invited to drive them to Mastapeter Memorial Home in his honor. Your participation would be a meaningful tribute to Jay's passion and a fitting way to celebrate his life. If there is a drag strip up there, Jay has already found it, and there's a good chance he is doing burnouts, swapping stories, and showing everyone how it is done.
